Continuity Insights

Fusion Risk Management has announced the launch of a Pandemic Readiness Toolkit – Powered by Fusion, to provide timely, critical, and reputable data, insights, and resources to help ensure organizational resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic. The site is designed to serve as a central and trusted resource for business continuity and risk managers, emergency planners, HR managers, legal officers, and others on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Pandemic Readiness Toolkit includes critical information today’s organizations need to effectively and continuously manage business operations during a pandemic such as the current COVID-19 situation, including:

  • Valuable and exportable content including a high-level pandemic plan template for practitioners
  • A map with COVID-19 outbreak statistics from the John Hopkins Medical Center KML feed, updated every morning
  • Links and information for reputable content from credible sources such as WHO, CDC, Johns Hopkins, and others, as well as whitepapers, blogs, videos, and other resources prepared by Fusion experts

Fusion will continually update the site, with new insights and features such as a community forum to enable practitioners to easily communicate and collaborate, an “Ask the Experts” section, and surveys and polls.

“Organizations around the globe realize COVID-19 represents one of the greatest threats to business continuity in recent times, and recognize that fast, seamless access to current and accurate information is vital to drive thoughtful and effective response,” said Bob Sibik, Senior Vice President and Co-founder of Fusion. “This is the time for the organizational resilience community to unite and help colleagues, clients, and partners navigate these trying times. Fusion is proud to lead the charge in providing these freely available resources for business continuity and risk managers, practitioners, and our global neighbors who need help managing the current crisis. This Toolkit will also help businesses ensure they are ready to handle future scenarios by giving them the visibility and information to make better business decisions and manage their business resilience on an ongoing basis.”

This resource is publicly available here. Further capabilities are being implemented in the Fusion Framework System that is easily accessible to Fusion clients. Fusion will continuously update these capabilities with additional in-depth templates and solutions for clients as they become available.
