Firms revise business continuity plans amid China-Taiwan tensions

Nearly half (47%) of US American Chamber of Commerce Taiwan (AmCham) members said the new geopolitical climate had forced them to revise business continuity plans.

The survey, involving 214 businesses, found 46% were less satisfied that the regulatory environment was being updated in response to changing societal and economic needs than before – up by 11 percentage points from last year’s survey.

And 34% said regulations and policies were the most important area for improvement of Taiwan’s business climate.
