Centrallo Corporation, creator of Groupdolists, a cross-platform SaaS solution to help teams on the front-lines responsible for safeguarding employees, facilities and assets, has announced that it has raised $1.5 million dollars. The seed round includes funding from Responder Ventures and a number of individuals including Bruce Blythe, Chairman of R3 Continuum, Sig Zises, and others. Groupdolists is a first-of-its kind response team coordination platform that can manage everything from everyday incidents to emergencies.

“Cyber attacks, national disasters, and generally unpredictable threats and events are happening more than ever before — which means that organizations need to be better prepared. Every organization needs its front-line responders to be agile and execute dynamic response plans immediately,” said Michael J. Sher, founder. “This round of funding will enable us to bring our best-in-class technology to organizations that take threats seriously and want a dramatically easier way for teams to coordinate seamlessly during incidents, reducing response time, effort, and risk.”

Groupdolists is an innovative platform that helps organizations improve their responses significantly in areas such as security operations, crisis management, emergency/incident management, resilience, risk, and operational recovery. It provides a better and simplified way to create and execute coordinated, sequenced, interdependent sets of tasks and procedures, synchronizing responses and workflows in real time. Responders gain leverage by sharing information, coordinating actions, and tracking results. Command and control is sharpened and improved.

Groupdolists was born from the vision of founder Michael Sher, an entrepreneur with a track record of success in the emergency and incident management markets. Michael was most recently the co-founder of Send Word Now, which began in New York City following 9/11.

“Michael’s background and vision for transforming how the enterprise and government manage their response and recovery during routine and emergency incidents is what initially drew us to Groupdolists,” said Nathaniel Wish, founder of Responder Ventures. “With cyberterrorism and other workplace threats on the rise, we believe that Groupdolists will play an important part in keeping businesses safe.”

In September, the company announced a partnership with Allied Universal, the largest guard services company in North America, to use the platform as part of its first-of-its-kind GSOCaaS (Global Security Operations Center as a Service).

“Now, more than ever, organizations need improved technology and tools to keep employees, safe, reputations protected, and business disruption to a minimum,” added Ty Richmond, Allied Universal President, Integrated Security Solutions and Technology. “Now that our employees and customers are using Groupdolists, standard and emergency operating procedures are no longer paper-based or gathering dust. They are completely digitized and accessible from any mobile device, making it so much easier for teams to communicate and manage the situation at hand.”
