Agility Acquires Workspace Recovery Business Unit of Rentsys Recovery Services

Business continuity recovery solutions provider Agility Recovery has announced the acquisition of the workspace recovery customers and assets of Rentsys Recovery Services, Inc., based in College Station, Texas.

“We have been intimately familiar with the strengths of Rentsys for a long time,” said Jon Bahl, CEO of Agility Recovery. “The acquisition of Rentsys’ assets, capabilities and expertise will enable enhanced services for customers from both organizations and allow us to better serve our clients in their time of need.”

A number of employees formerly with Rentsys Recovery Services will join Agility Recovery in the acquisition, including Walt Thomasson, former Managing Director of Rentsys. Walt, who will assume a role on the executive leadership team at Agility Recovery said, “I’m excited to join the Agility Recovery team and go to market with such a comprehensive offering. Bringing together the collective resources and experience of these two outstanding firms under the Agility Recovery brand represents a truly pivotal moment for the industry.”

The acquisition of Rentsys’ assets will address shorter recovery time objectives and create expanded flexibility at the time of recovery, both critical elements for ensuring that customers are able to restore operations quickly.

“Agility Recovery remains committed to growing in a way that most importantly improves customer experience and value,” added Bahl. “This acquisition solidifies our standing as a strong, stable organization and strengthens our market position while delivering superior service to our customers.”
