Hurricanes Florence & Michael – Recovery Lessons Learned

Recovery Lessons Learned from Hurricanes Florence & Michael, a new webinar scheduled for November 27, has been added to Continuity Insights’ new webinar series. Topic areas to be covered include communications, logistics, crisis management, facilities, supply chains, and restoration of basic utilities.

Each year’s Hurricane Season brings opportunity to test the mettle of even the best-laid plans for Crisis Management and Disaster Preparedness. The major storms of 2018 were no different, and presented their own unique challenges to organizations on the Gulf and East coasts. Tune in for an in-depth analysis of the lessons learned from these storms based on real recoveries and the experiences of personnel on the ground responding to Florence and Michael.

The webinar discussion will be moderated by Scott Teel, Senior Director of Corporate Communications with Agility Recovery, where he leads team member enablement throughout the organization, as well as content development and training initiatives with both internal and external. He orchestrates numerous educational programs conducted in partnership with FEMA, the US Small Business Administration, and the dozens of national trade associations.

The webinar will begin at 2:00 p.m. EDT and will allow time for audience participation and Q&A. The webinar is free for all attendees. Registration is now open here.
