The 16th edition of the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report analyses the risks from societal fractures – manifested through persistent and emerging risks to human health, rising unemployment, widening digital divides, youth disillusionment, and geopolitical fragmentation.

Saadia Zahidi, a Managing Director and Head of the Platform for the New Society and Economy at the World Economic Forum, which just released the Global Risks, writes the while the risk landscape is more ominous than it was a year ago, there is also greater momentum to build a more inclusive and sustainable society – and one more prepared to confront global risks.
