New research shows that nearly half (44%) of company breaches are the result of using third-party vendors to secure their data. And only 14% of those organizations surveyed have faith in their vendors’ reputation for keeping their data safe.

Cost savings play a key role in a company’s decision to outsource their data security. However, before any decision is made to team up with a third-party vendor, there are a number steps that should be taken to fully evaluate potential partners.
