The Good and Bad News on Ransomware Attacks

First, the good news. Ransomware attacks on consumers are down as cybercriminals search for greater RIO on their hacking efforts. The real money is in attacking organizations over individuals, which clearly spells out the bad news. Ransomware attacks are skyrocketing when it comes to business.

And according to ransomware incident response provider Coveware, today’s cybercriminals are demanding higher ransomes, with a 184% increase in the past year.
