ServiceNow has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Boston-based business continuity platform provider and MSP (managed IT services provider) Fairchild Resiliency Systems. Fairchild is currently a ServiceNow Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partner. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
With the acquisition, ServiceNow states plans to extend its Risk portfolio by bringing together Fairchild’s business continuity capabilities with its own operational, vendor, and IT risk management capabilities.

The Fairchild deal comes on the heels of ServiceNow’s hiring of new CEO Bill McDermott, the former top executive at giant enterprise software vendor SAP.
