Second Keynote Speaker Announced for 2018 Continuity Insights Management Conference

Internationally known consultant and educator Steve Crimando, who specializes in the application of the behavioral sciences in homeland and private security, violence prevention, crisis management, and disaster response, has joined the faculty and will keynote day three of the 2018 Continuity Insights Management Conference, April 23-25, in Miami.

Crimando is the Principal of Behavioral Science Applications, an innovative operational risk management consulting firm based in the New York Metro Area serving a global client base.

His keynote address, “New Thinking in Active Assailant Prevention, Response & Recovery: Maturing Organizational Violence Prevention Programs,” will provided attendees with timely and actionable approaches to aligning their current violence prevention posture with the realities of the contemporary threat landscape.

Law enforcement and emergency management authorities repeatedly warn that no organization or community is immune from active assailant threats – an evolving term intended to encompass the possibility of attacks involving not only firearms, but explosives, vehicles, knives, and other forms of violence.
