Prepare for an Earthquake With These Disaster Kits

Recent earthquakes in California have spurred scores of families and individuals, not only in the state, but across the country to begin preparing their own emergency supply kits in anticipation of the next big hit. The American Red Cross recommends having a three-day-supply of essential items if you’re forced to evacuate and two weeks of supplies if you remain in your home.

Janet Eastman, writing in The Oregonian, recently compiled an article that outline six emergency kits that will help anyone prepare for an earthquake. Read her full report via Emergency Management here.
