The New York City Metro ACP Chapter has announced that “Building Cyber Resilience: Effectively Managing Critical Business Functions During Crisis” will be the topic of discussion at its May meeting. The session will take place on Thursday, May 20, 2020 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at via Zoom.
Organizations have been investing in capability building, bringing in new roles, external advisors, and control systems for quite some time to avoid cyber-attacks. But the focus has not been on developing resilience towards cyber-attacks, should the organization get breached. Would the critical functions of your business still be able to function properly? Would you be able to survive and overcome complex breaches without much impact? That is why building cyber resilience is very important for your organization.
Michael C. Redmond, Director, Consulting, Audit & Training Redmond Worldwide, will answer these questions and more as he talks about an effective, integrated approach to cyber risk management and business continuity which is critical to achieve cyber resilience. Being resilient requires security leaders to recognize the need for harmonizing their IT/Cyber and Business Continuity units.
