Conference Keynote: Workforce Resilience in the Wake of the Great Resignation

Leading off the 2022 Continuity Insights Management Conference, Dr. Steven B. Goldman, MIT, along with a panel of resilience thought leaders, will discuss Workforce Resilience in the Wake of the Great Resignation. This contemporary, newsworthy topic – The Great Resignation –  is a crisis of epic proportions. Unlike a fire, flood, cyber attack, etc., the Great Resignation is a chronic and fatiguing crisis with no clearly defined end-state: What is now and will be the role of the Resilience Professional in navigating through this crisis? At the other end, has the role of the Resilience Professional changed? Is there even another end, a future end-state or is this the new normal? Are there skills, capabilities, approaches that are necessary to transition through this crisis that we had not foreseen? The panel will discuss all of these issues from a variety of differing business perspectives. Audience participation will be a key element of this session. Dr. Steven B. Goldman is an internationally recognized expert and consultant in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery, and Risk/Crisis Communications. He has over 30 years’ experience in the various aspects of these disciplines, including program management, plan development, training, exercises, and response strategies. His background is comprehensive, yet unique, in that he has been a professional engineer, corporate spokesperson, manager of media relations, business continuity planner, crisis responder, consultant, and a Fortune 500 Company’s Global Business Continuity Program Manager. Goldman has published many articles and conducts several seminars annually on the various aspects of Crisis ... Read more
