SYDNEY, NSW and DENVER, CO Date – iluminr, a disruptor in Risk & Resilience technology, today announced the appointment of Paula Fontana as Vice President of Global Marketing. As part of the Executive Leadership Team, Fontana will lead iluminr’s global marketing strategy at a time of rapid growth for the company. She will drive marketing and communications worldwide to bring iluminr’s vision for organizational resilience to life across all channels and markets.

Fontana has built her career at industry-defining technology and service organizations globally, and brings over 20 years of extensive marketing, product, and operations experience building innovative brands and experiences for high-growth companies. Fontana joins iluminr from Fusion Risk Management, where she served as Vice President of Product and Partner Marketing leading new category creation, storytelling, innovation, and go-to-market strategy in Operational Resilience. Prior to Fusion, Fontana held leadership positions at Kroll, Wiley, LexisNexis, and United Airlines.

In addition to leading the company’s global growth strategies, Fontana will provide strong thought leadership for the continued innovation of the iluminr platform, helping customers leverage purpose-built, turnkey experiences that keep today’s hybrid workforces risk-aware and resilient.
Fontana earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is currently enrolled at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business. She serves as Chief Storyteller and partner at Product10x, a San Francisco-based Product-Led Growth accelerator, and works extensively in the startup community in marketing, product, and growth advisory. She is active in the risk and resilience thought leadership circuit, speaking and writing in global forums such as OpRisk North America, OpRisk Global, OpRisk Europe, The Business Continuity Institute, Disaster Recovery Journal, Salesforce, and Infosys Knowledge Institute.
