Fusion Adds Strategic Leadership Positions

Business continuity and risk management software and services supplier Fusion Risk Management has announced the expansion of its product leadership team to further develop its operational risk management and organizational resiliency capabilities.

To facilitate customer success and strategic growth in the risk management space, the Fusion product management team is adding two new members under the leadership of Chief Product Officer Steve Richardson.

David Halford, formerly Vice President of Advisory Services, is assuming the role of Vice President of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Solutions, where he will lead Fusion’s product vision for all business continuity management, including disaster recovery and crisis and incident management.

Alex Toews, an industry veteran in enterprise risk management, joined the team as Risk Solutions Manager. Previously Toews was a Financial Services Risk Advisory and Consulting Manager at EY, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services.

“We are very excited about the additions to the product management team,” Richardson said. “David brings a highly-experienced, and strategic perspective that will deepen our business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis and incident management solutions. Alex deeply understands the challenges companies in many industries face in maturing their risk management programs and the challenges with using legacy risk management technologies. Both additions will be key to our customers’ success, as we continue to offer more capabilities and best practices.”
