What to Expect
Make your way to the Kentucky Derby Museum at the Churchill Downs Racetrack, where you can present your voucher for admission to the museum and grounds. Follow the history and culture of the derby at your own pace: exhibits include trophies and artifacts from some of the Kentucky Derby’s greatest winners, a selfie-ready reproduction of the ‘Winners Circle,’ and an 18-minute, 360-degree, immersive movie about the Kentucky Derby called ‘The Greatest Race.’

At 30 minutes past the hour, you’ll have the chance to join a guided walking tour of the Churchill Downs racetrack. Follow a guide through the track where racing’s most famous jockeys have ridden horses such as Secretariat, Barbaro, Big Brown, California Chrome, and American Pharaoh to big, memorable wins.

Adjacent to the Kentucky Derby Museum are the Finish Line Gift Shop and the Derby Café, which celebrates the derby with Kentucky fare like mint juleps and hot browns.
