The Disaster Resource Guide has released the results of its recent survey on how organizations are managing their crisis communications and leveraging notification technology. The Crisis Communications & Emergency Notification Survey was sponsored by OnSolve.
The survey results have been compiled to allow BC/DR professionals to compare their organization with industry peers and review the trends that are shaping critical incident response today.
Among the report’s key findings:
- 47% of decision-makers said severe and extreme weather events are their leading concern when it comes to emergency communications.
- 28% of organizations said their primary challenge with workforce notifications is reaching geographically-dispersed employees spread across multiple locations in the U.S. and abroad.
- 22% of those surveyed said having up-to-date employee contact info is their primary concern with emergency workforce notifications.
