The Contingency Planning Association of the Carolinas (CPAC) annual CPAC Symposium scheduled for February 8-9, 2018, in Concord, NC is seeking experienced business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency management professionals to provide fresh perspectives and raise awareness of contingency planning issues.
Two plenary sessions have already been scheduled.
Robert Chandler, Ph.D., Professor of Communication, Lipscomb University, will lead off the symposium with “The ‘Right Stuff’ for Crisis Management Team Leaders.” Chandler is an accomplished researcher and scholar with more than 150 academic and professional papers, including widely circulated “white papers” on communication during disasters.
Bo Mitchell, Founder and President of 911 Consulting and a recognized expert in organizational safety and security and emergency preparedness, will kick off day two with “Black Swans in 170 Days.”
