Crimando, who has been awarded the Diplomate credential from the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security, and achieved Diplomate status with the National Center for Crisis Management, will present “Today’s Workplace Violence Challenges,” redefining the workplace and workplace violence and considerations for employers and employees, including the most devastating form of workplace violence, active shooter incidents.

Workplace Violence: A Multidisciplinary Perspective will feature some of the nation’s foremost authorities on this all-too-often occurring incident, individuals who will share their expertise in psychological and sociological impact, human resource, legal, law enforcement, academia, physical security, and more.

The one-day program is geared toward professionals in human resources, legal, security/safety, business continuity, emergency management, public sector agencies, colleges/universities, and others responsible for the security and integrity of their organizations.

The event culminates with a session on “How to Write a Violence Preparedness Plan for Your Organization.” Workplace Violence: A Multidisciplinary Perspective will be particularly important for professionals in human resources, legal, security/safety, business continuity, emergency management, public sector agencies, colleges/universities, and others responsible for the security and integrity of their organizations.
