Continuity Insights Management Conference

Recognizing the importance of exercising the plans that business continuity professionals spend so much time developing, the New York City Metro ACP Chapter has announced that for its January 2019 meeting, the NYCEM Public/Private Initiatives Team will walk the chapter through multiple scenarios and the decisions that need to be made – on the public and private side.

As tabletop exercises provide a cost-effective way to increase the preparedness of organizations by allowing participants to rehearse their roles during emergencies and by revealing flaws in existing plans that must be corrected, the meeting will provide an excellent opportunity to get an understanding of the challenges faced and will help inform NYCEM Public/Private Initiatives Team’s efforts to support its base during actual events.

After the tabletop presentation, chapter members will have an opportunity for Q&A and take a tour of the OEM.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, January 17 at 3:00 p.m. at the New York City Emergency Management Department, 165 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, NY.

Register here.

The New York City Metro ACP Chapter meets on the third Thursday of every month.
