Continuity Insights Management Conference

The Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP) has announced that its 2020 Summit will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort in San Antonio, TX. The Summit will immediately follow the 18th Annual Continuity Insights Management Conference which begins on Monday April 20, 2020. The ACP Summit will begin on Wednesday afternoon, April 22 and feature a welcome reception that evening. The Summit then runs all day Thursday, April 23 concluding at 4:00 p.m.

The goal of having the Summit directly after the Continuity Insights Management Conference is to make it as convenient as possible and to minimize travel expenses.

In other ACP National news, the makeup of the 2020 National Board of Directors has been confirmed. The membership has re-elected current board members Megan Epperson and Scott Ream, along with former members Mary Carrido and Dr. Bernard Jones.

First appointed to the board to fill a vacancy, Megan Epperson will begin her first full term. Scott Ream, board chair for the past two years, will be entering his second three-year term. The returnees are Mary Carrido, who served as chair back in 1998, and Dr. Bernard Jones who served from 2014 through 2017. The three-year terms for each begin on January 1, 2020.
