NY Metro ACP June Meeting – Surviving a Business Continuity Audit Discussion

The New York City Metro ACP Chapter has announced that Jacob Neufeld, Enterprise Resiliency Manager at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Sloan Kettering Institute, will be the featured speaker at its next meeting and will present Surviving a Business Continuity Audit.

The meeting is scheduled for June 21, 2018 for 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), 300 Vesey Street, New York, NY.

In his presentation Neufeld will discuss the process of an audit of a business continuity program at a major hospital in New York City, demonstrating the challenges faced by both the auditors and the auditees, including how the program was audited, a high-level overview of the audit findings, and how the audit process, findings, and action items improved the business continuity program.

In addition to supporting the Director of Emergency Management with the hospital and research division preparedness program, Neufeld is directly responsible for enterprise-wide Clinical and Business Resiliency planning for the hospital, three research facilities, 10 business locations, and 20 ambulatory care sites.  He has in-depth knowledge and experience in comprehensive emergency management planning. He holds an MPA in Emergency and Disaster Management and is certified as an Associate Business Continuity Planner.

Registration for the June 21 meeting is now open here.

The New York City Metro ACP Chapter meets on the third Thursday of every month.
