Live Web Forum – Our Warming World: Consequences of Global and Regional Climate Change

The Global Resilience Network and the Metropolitan Resilience Network, hosted by the International Center for Enterprise Preparedness (INTERCEP) at New York University, are presenting a Live Web Forum on “Our Warming World: Consequences of Global and Regional Climate Change” The discussion will also include an update on Hurricane Season.

The forum is scheduled for Tuesday, August 21 at 11:00 eastern. Dr. David Robinson, New Jersey State Climatologist and Professor of Geography at Rutgers University, will provide insights and respond to participant questions. Also joining the forum will be Bryan Norcross, Hurricane Specialist at The Weather Channel, to provide an update on the current hurricane season.

The Global Resilience Network is a unique community of global corporations and their senior leadership who have responsibilities to address risks (both threats & opportunities) for their organizations on a worldwide basis and see the value of collaborating to address the increasingly uncertain global environment. The Metropolitan Resilience Network is an innovative public/private initiative enabling more effective preparation for, response to, and recovery from the range of disruptions that increasingly impact the metro-New York region.
